Reason for the season

On this blessed night,
Everything became alright.
For the Word became flesh,
To start everything afresh.

It was for love,
That the Lord came from above.
He came to die,
That we may have life.

Jesus, the Son of God,
He is Christ the Lord.
He is the reason,
The reason we celebrate this season.
